About Sudesh
Sudesh is a journalist and multimedia generalist covering sports, culture, and geopolitics with a background in written and multimedia journalism. He is currently a sports writer at Doha News.
He has reported from multiple tournaments across sports, including the FIFA World Cup 2022, AFC Asian Cup 2023, AFC Champions League Elite 2025, Formula 1 Qatar GP 2024, MotoGP Qatar 2025 among others and has reported from South Asia to Europe, also working as a local fixer for multiple international outlets.
Sudesh's experience of working in traditional newsrooms as well as for popular digital platforms have equipped him to navigate the evolving media landscape, alongside working on the road.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism and has appeared in The Guardian, Euronews, FOX Sports and more.
